Executive Director
Don Kahl became the Executive Director of the Equal Rights Center in September 2008. Prior to that he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the ERC. Don is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the organization. Don brings over 25-years of legal and management experience to the ERC, both as a director of a large private-practice law firm, and most recently as Senior Counsel for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs where he designed, managed and advised on a broad spectrum of civil rights litigation matters. Don holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a juris doctorate degree.
